St. Joseph Catholic School Learning Center opened its doors on June 1, 2001 to fill a need perceived by Monsignor John McCaffrey for a full time quality childcare facility and Pre-K program. It quickly grew from six children to sixty children, and this year enrollment has soared to 270. We have grown from two rooms in the Parish Activity Center to two campuses, one at 109 North Preston, and one at 600 South Coulter.
Because of our commitment to excellence and dedication to God’s children, all of our teachers have experience in childcare. Over the last decade, we have added many special monthly celebrations including visitors from the community coming to talk to our Jr. Pre K students about their careers. Intellectual, as well as spiritual growth, are essential parts of a Catholic education. All children at our centers begin learning Catholic prayers as pre-toddlers.
The mission of St. Joseph Catholic Early Learning Center is to educate children in a Christ-centered, nurturing environment, with an emphasis on Catholic teachings and traditions, where children are encouraged to learn and be creative.
